This Olympia Traveller De Luxe was made in Yugoslavia in 1977 — a compact yet sturdy portable typewriter celebrated for its reliability and crisp, responsive touch. Its vibrant green body combines German engineering precision with timeless practicality.
It features a QWERTY keyboard layout (Spanish), complete with keys for "ñ", and "ç", and four accent marks — acute (´), grave (`), diaeresis (¨), and circumflex (^). These allow you to type accented characters such as á, è, ü, â. Please see the keyboard photo for other special characters.
Olympia Elite features sharp, well-defined letterforms and excellent readability. Clean and dependable, it produces crisp, professional-looking text that is perfect for letters, journals, and everyday writing.
This machine is in good cosmetic condition, showing some small marks on the exterior. Please pay close attention to the listing photos. All keys, margins, ribbon, and line spacing mechanisms function properly. Basic cleaning and adjustments have been performed to ensure a smooth and reliable typing experience. The original carrying case shows age-appropriate signs of wear and is included; it remains fully functional, as shown in the last photo. A new bi-color ribbon has been installed, and additional ribbons can be purchased separately.
