This Olivetti Lettera 32, made around 1968, is a mid-century design icon - compact, precise, and beautifully styled by Marcello Nizzoli. The body is finished in a rare yellow-green tone, an uncommon variation that feels more vibrant and full of life than the traditional blue-green models. This machine has an QZERTY (Italian) layout, including keys for "è", "é", "ç", "à", "ù", "ì", "ò". Please check the keyboard photos for additional special symbols.
The classic Olivetti Pica is a timeless serif typeface with elegant, highly readable letterforms. It produces crisp, refined text that is perfect for letters, journals, and everyday writing.
This typewriter is in excellent cosmetic condition, showing only minor surface marks that are barely visible upon close inspection. Please review the listing photos carefully. Please note that there is some wear on a few of the typeslugs, particularly the letters "a" and "e" - please review the typing sample to evaluate print quality. Mechanically, it is fully functional. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate properly following a detailed cleaning and adjustment for a smooth, responsive typing experience. It comes ready to write with a freshly installed ribbon, and extra replacement ribbons are available for purchase separately. A carrying bag showing wear consistent with age (including a recent repair - see last photo) is also available as an add-on.
