This Olivetti Lettera 32 was made in Barcelona, Spain around 1968 — a classic mid-century portable typewriter loved by writers, journalists, and thinkers around the world. Its teal body and timeless Italian design by Marcello Nizzoli embody both function and beauty: compact, precise, and built to last.
This machine has an AZERTY (French) layout, including keys for "è", "é", "ç", "à", "ù" and two accent marks — diaeresis (¨) and circumflex (^). You can type accented characters such as ü and â. Please check the keyboard photos for additional special symbols.
The classic Olivetti Elite s a timeless serif typeface with elegant, highly readable letterforms. It produces crisp, refined text that is perfect for letters, journals, and everyday writing.
This typewriter is in good cosmetic condition. Noticeable imperfections are shown in the photos, mainly some slight wear on the paint around the corners and very minor stain marks on the exterior. Please review the listing photos carefully. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate properly. Basic cleaning and adjustments have been performed to ensure a smooth and responsive typing experience. A carrying bag, showing some white-out stains and wear consistent with age, is available as an add-on for this typewriter. A new ribbon has been installed, and fresh ribbons can be purchased separately.
