This Olympia SF (SuperFlat) De Luxe was made in Germany around 1962 — an ultra-slim portable typewriter designed for maximum portability without sacrificing Olympia’s renowned precision. Its low-profile metal body, clean modernist lines, and exceptionally crisp typing action make it one of the most refined travel machines of its era. Lightweight yet mechanically robust, the SF embodies the best of German engineering in a compact, elegant form.

This machine features a QWERTY (Spanish) keyboard layout, complete with keys for "ñ", and two accent marks — acute (´) and diaeresis (¨). These allow you to type accented characters such as "á" and "ü". Please check the keyboard photos for additional special symbols.

Olympia Pica features sharp, well-defined letterforms and excellent readability. Clean and dependable, it produces crisp, professional-looking text that is perfect for letters, journals, and everyday writing.

This typewriter is in very good cosmetic condition, with some small surface scratch marks under the carriage return lever. Please pay close attention to the listing photos. The typewriter comes ready to type: all keys, margins, ribbons, and line spacing functions operate properly. The machine has been cleaned, tested, and delivers a smooth typing experience with firm keystrokes and a clear bell. The original carrying case shows age-appropriate signs of wear, and comes with a black strap because the zippers are no longer functional. A new ribbon has been installed, and additional ribbons can be purchased separately.
