This Olympia Traveller de Luxe, produced in the 1970s, is a compact yet durable portable typewriter celebrated for its precision, reliability, and timeless modernist design. This machine has an Qzerty (Italian) layout, including keys for "è", "é", "ç", "à", "ù", "ì", "ò". Please check the keyboard photos for special symbols.
Olympia Elite features sharp, well-defined letterforms and excellent readability. Clean and dependable, it produces crisp, professional-looking text that is perfect for letters, journals, and everyday writing.
This machine is in good cosmetic condition, showing some small marks around the body. Please review the photos carefully. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate properly. One note regarding this typewriter is the print quality of letter "a" and "ù" is not as crisp as the others. Please review the typing sample for reference. This is reflected in the reduced pricing. Basic cleaning and adjustments have been performed to ensure a smooth and responsive typing experience. The original carrying case shows age-appropriate signs of wear and is included. A new ribbon has been installed, and additional ribbons can be purchased separately.
