Produced as a more economical alternative to Olympia’s higher-end models, it retains the brand’s hallmark precision and durability while emphasizing simplicity and ease of use. Practical, sturdy, and straightforward, the Olympiette de Luxe is a dependable vintage machine well suited for students, writers, and collectors alike.
This machine features a QWERTY (Spanish) keyboard layout, complete with keys for "ñ", "ç", and four accent marks — acute (´), and diaeresis (¨). These allow you to type accented characters such as á, and ü. Please see the keyboard photo for other special characters.
Olympia Pica features sharp, well-defined letterforms and excellent readability. Clean and dependable, it produces crisp, professional-looking text that is perfect for letters, journals, and everyday writing.
This machine is in good cosmetic condition, showing some small marks on the exterior. Please pay close attention to the listing photos. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate properly. Basic cleaning and adjustments have been performed to ensure a smooth and responsive typing experience. A carrying case, showing wear consistent with age, is included with the typewriter. A functional ribbon has been installed, and fresh ribbons can be purchased separately.
