This Adler Gabriele 10, produced in Western Germany around 1972, is a well-built mid-size portable typewriter that balances solid engineering with practical design. Its robust mechanism delivers an exceptionally smooth and controlled typing feel, while remaining sturdy and easy to use. This machine features a QWERTY (Dutch) keyboard layout, and four accent marks — acute (´), grave (`), diaeresis (¨), and circumflex (^). These allow you to type accented characters such as á, è, ü, and â. Please refer to the keyboard photo for additional characters available. Please note that this typewriter is missing the key for "$" and "£". The key at the upper left corner produces "=" and "+" instead.

This typewriter is in good cosmetic condition, with some scuff marks and discoloration. Please refer to the listing photos. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate properly. The original carrying case shows age-appropriate signs of wear and is included; it remains fully functional, as shown in the last photo. A functional ribbon has been installed, and fresh ribbons can be purchased separately.
