The Olivetti Lettera 22 is an iconic mid-century portable typewriter, designed by Marcello Nizzoli and engineered by Giuseppe Beccio. Produced in Italy and here finished in its distinctive pistachio yellow-green hue, it features a lightweight aluminum body, clean modernist lines, and the remarkably precise mechanics that made it a favorite among writers and journalists. Celebrated as a masterpiece of industrial design, the Lettera 22 is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York - a testament to its enduring influence and timeless elegance.
