About this lamp: A Spanish Space Age desk lamp produced by H. Rogu S.L. in Valencia during the late 1970s to early 1980s. The design features a cylindrical base and matching dome shade connected by two chrome-plated steel rods, creating a compact and architectural silhouette typical of late 20th century modernist lighting.
The adjustable head allows for directional illumination, making it ideal as a desk lamp, bedside reading light, or focused accent piece. The white painted metal body contrasts cleanly with the exposed chrome structure, giving it a sharp and distinctly Space Age character.
The previous owner attributed the design to Josep Maria Magem; however, this attribution has not been independently verified. Examples of this model are rarely encountered, and documentation is limited, adding to its distinctive appeal for collectors of Spanish modern design.
Condition: Good vintage condition with visible signs of age. Light surface scratches and minor paint wear consistent with use.
