The Triumph Tippa, made in Holland in 1970s, is a compact and reliable portable typewriter from one of Europe’s most respected manufacturers. Known for its precision engineering and minimalist mid-century design, the Tippa combines a lightweight body with the sturdy mechanics typical of German craftsmanship.
This machine has an Qzerty (Italian) layout, including keys for "è", "é", "ç", "à", "ù", "ì", "ò". Please check the keyboard photos for special symbols.
This machine is fitted with a very cute sans serif RaRo Cubic typeface, also known as Ro 85, produced by the German foundry Ransmayer and Rodrian. Created in the spirit of mid century modernist typography, Cubic reflects the geometric and forward looking design language of the Space Age era, with clean lines, balanced proportions, and confident square forms that create a distinctly modern, architectural, almost techno impression on the page.
This machine is in very good cosmetic condition, showing some very small marks on the exterior. Please pay close attention to the listing photos. All keys, margins, line spacing, and ribbon functions operate properly. Basic cleaning and adjustments have been performed to ensure a smooth and responsive typing experience. The carrying case, showing wear consistent with age, is fully functional and included with the typewriter. A new ribbon has been installed, and fresh ribbons can be purchased separately.
